Gluten-free map for iPhone (beta) now includes comments
We're happy to announce that over the weekend we've enhanced our gluten-free map for the iPhone to also include a link to the comments for the business. Just click on the marker to bring up the info window for that business location. There will be a "comments" link at the bottom of the window if the business has any comments posted about it by the gluten-free community.
Give it a try on your iPhone. Best of all, it's free to use wherever you are! Just one of the many ways we're trying to share the most comprehensive moderated database of gluten-free friendly businesses.

Gluten-free map for iPhone deployed (beta)
We're pleased to announce that we have deployed a searchable gluten-free map for the iPhone! Like our full sized GF World Map, the tailored GF iMap allows you to zoom in by address and search by business type. You can even search for restaurants that offer gluten-free pizzas!

Gluten-Free Map Enhancement
We've had two great suggestions lately. The first was to provide a way to search by business type (i.e. restaurants, bakeries, etc). The second was to allow a search of restaurants that offer gluten-free pizza. We're happy to announce that we've incorporated both on our interactive gluten-free map by adding a filter by business type. Give it a try and let us know what you think. And keep those suggestions coming!

Why some poorly performing restaurants are left in the registry
Unfortunately when dining out at any restaurant there will be varying degrees of risk. Choosing a restaurant is a very individual decision.
This is why the single most valuable information on our site are the comments and ratings from people in the gluten-free community. That information helps provide insight into whether the business just talks the GF talk, or actually walks the GF walk.
We sometimes get questions why we leave some poorly performing businesses on our site. Put simply we want the public to have visibility of the community feedback so they can make a more informed decision about whether dining at that particular restaurant, or even restaurant location, is appropriate for their individual needs.

Gluten-free friendly GPS points-of-interest order page browser compatibility bug fix
We discovered a browser compatibility issue on our gluten-free friendly GPS points-of-interest file order page. The bug prevented some browsers from being able to order GPS files. We're happy to report that this issue has been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.
